They had deployed HP POS running Micros Xstore Software with all peripherals (Cash Drawer/Scanner/Pin-Pad /Receipt Printer). Their hardware network included Brother Printers, Cisco Switches, Routers & Access Points.

Challenge

They faced challenges with scheduled changes with rapid ramp up time. Additional resources were required for both the project support team and adding additional field engineers per store.

Approach

An 18×5 project command center in Torrance HQ was established with a dedicated team of 4 Project Coordinators and 5 Phone Support Engineers. More than 100 site engineers worked deployed at 260 retail locations (6500 man-hours). The operations were monitored through a Real-Time Dashboard using our Managed Deployment Toolkit.

Result

• Completed the project in record time of 9 weeks (~30 stores per week) with measurable success and customer satisfaction
• Documentation of Asset Database to reflect the latest in-store inventory
