To address this, organizations can outsource cybersecurity functions to specialized cloud providers and leverage cloud-based cybersecurity services. This can provide visibility into anomalous behavior and indicate potential compromise, enhancing detection and response operations.
Machine learning and artificial intelligence can help identify unusual cyber activity and automate necessary defense, detection, and response protocols. Other technological advancements, such as blockchain technologies and multifactor authentication, can improve specific aspects of cybersecurity. Adopting technological change is essential, and organizations that embrace it should constantly search for ways to improve their cybersecurity programs.
